Tailoring Project

The safehouse tailoring center started operations in April of 2020. Due to financial considerations, only three girls have been working. They have shown a lot of commitment in the production of uniforms. We have been able to produce hundreds of uniforms towards our target. We hope to have over 5,000 school uniforms ready for sale by January 2021, when schools in Kenya are expected to reopen. We are still raising funds to enable us to reach this target. We are inviting support from donors to help this income generating project, to help in the fight against FGM.
