Ten Girls Rescued in August! Sponsors Needed.

Girls In School Uniforms

In August we rescued six girls from female genital mutilation and four from forced early marriages. They were so happy to be at the safe house. We have never rescued so many girls in a single month.

We faced a major challenge to get them back in school. The head teacher of Naikarra boarding primary school came to our rescue. He agreed to allow the girls in his school while we looked for people to pay for their school fees.

The girls could not start school without school uniforms and school supplies. This presented a new challenge since that meant we had to raise $1500 to purchase what the girls needed to start school. We were forced to use our food money to ensure the girls went back to school. We are seeking sponsors for these girls to remain in school. The fees, food, school supplies and medical cost is $350 per child per year. If you wish to help us by sponsoring a girl please contact us. You can email Patrick Ngigi at
